WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS TO ATTEND EDGE COLLEGE?
EDGE College (ages 18-25) is an exclusive program to train up quality and uncompromising leaders for ministry. This means that we are careful to select the right individuals for the right reasons. EDGE College enrolls students who show exemplary standards of servant leadership, academic excellence, and spiritual maturity. Interested students must fill out the application for EDGE College, undergo an interview process with Victory Worship Center staff, apply to SEU and turn in all required items, and fill out a FAFSA using the SEU school code.
HOW LONG IS A Year of the EDGE COLLEGE?
The EDGE College is a 10-month, full-time ministry internship program. The next class of the EDGE College will start August of 2019 with an end date of May 2020.
WHAT IS THE REGULAR SCHEDULE LIKE FOR AN EDGE COLLEGE STUDENT?
Students hold regular hours at Victory Worship Center, Monday-Thursday, 9am-5pm in a designated area specifically reserved for them. Students will be given time to:
- Tuesday - Friday
- 8:30am-9:30am Personal Devotions
- 9:30am-12pm Classwork (SEU Academics)
- 12:00pm-1:00pm Noon Prayer (Wednesdays Only)
- 1:00pm-5:00pm Ministry Practicums
- Discipleship Groups lead by Edge Staff (Same Gender)
- Outreach in the city of Tucson, AZ
- Serving in various capacities at Victory Worship Center
CAN I STILL WORK A JOB WHILE I ATTEND EDGE COLLEGE?
Students are able to hold a part-time job while they attend EDGE College as long as their work schedule does not interfere with academics and ministry expectations.
IS EDGE COLLEGE ACCREDITED?
EDGE College is a ministry of Victory Worship Center. Victory Worship Center partners with Southeastern University as our educational provider. Southeastern University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award associate, baccalaureate, masters, and doctorate degrees. HOW LONG WILL I ATTEND EDGE COLLEGE?
EDGE College is reserved for students 18-25. Students can attend EDGE College for up to four years as they begin and complete their Bachelor or Associate degree through Southeastern University.
DOES THE EDGE COLLEGE PROVIDE HOUSING AND FOOD?
The EDGE College does not provide housing or food for your time in the program. Students are encouraged to find housing with family and friends or connect with other students who are seeking to share housing for the year. We will provide an avenue for students to connect and discuss housing options after they are accepted!
